Welcome to the Kansas City Prostate Cancer Foundation Web Site
With approximately 220,000 new cases every year, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the U.S.; this fact translates to 1 out of every 6 men. Of those diagnosed, over 29,000 will die from complications from the disease. The good news is there is a 99% survival rate if treated early enough.
We are passionate about prostate cancer! We were established and are dedicated to help fund research, increase awareness and educate the Kansas City Metropolitan community about prostate cancer and treatment options.
The 4th Annual Great Prostate Cancer Challenge, was held September 16, 2012. View the race results.
